A shortened work week!!!

Ok, so apparently I am not as good at this blogging thing as I thought I would be. I have been really busy and had not even given this blog a thought (or even remembered that I had one to be frank) until I was talking to my dad and he mentioned it. It was like, Duh! I should write on that again. My apologies for not blogging but I am at it again.

So this week was pretty crazy again. On Monday night I went to see the Rockettes with my mom- thanks mom, it was really fun! Tuesday night I worked a little late, had to come home and quick clean, cuz my inlaws were coming over to watch the kids so I could go to Evan and Seth's parent teacher conferences and then I had to do a 31 show. I didn't get home until 10 and I hadn't eaten since lunch. Dave left to go to R&R (Rob & Rachel's) and I went to bed at 11:30. Tonight is Wednesday and I left work early to run to Byron Center to pick up a fresh turkey for my husband to work his magic on for Thanksgiving and then stayed at home with Seth and Aylee and played Rock Band with Seth for an hour. Dinner is grilled cheese and chix noodle soup. Aylee and Seth are running thru the house and they are both squeeling and laughing so hard. Aylee has been stripped to her diaper since peaches and her = a giant mess. She will be getting a bath tonight! She is currently dragging around the kitchen table the cloth tote I use to carry her naptine sheets to and from Appletree and she is just giggling. I think those peaches had some extra funny juice on them since Seth also ate them and has the same giggles. I hope they sleep good tonight! Well, I am off to finish up my night and eat my dinner. Hopefully my husband comes home soon or I am going to eat w/o him.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

2nd blog on day one...

So at daycare today my daughter fell and has a nice shiner on her eye now. It was an accident, so apparently she has not mastered the art of walking.
We had dinner at my sister-in-law Jen's house and now we are home and the boys are playing Uno and making up rule after rule as they go. Guess who is crying about the new rule??? Yep, Seth. He is frustrated because Evan won't follow his rule of keeping cards above the table so they can all see how many are in their hands. Now they are playing Catch Phrase and Seth doesn't understand the game and he is frustrated. Poor kid! He just got the last one right though- go Seth! Aylee is walking around and opening cupboard doors and pulling out- DANG FLY! there is a fly that disappears every time we get the swatter out-ahhh!!! all my tupperware type dishes and the pans. The boys don't want to go to bed tonight until they get to talk to Dave on the computer. We have programs on both computers to be able to video chat while he is in New York. Hope he calls soon- I can't handle much more of the the Catch Phrase. Evan just said, "something that mom and I eat that you hate, it has spinach and meat in it." I said, "salad." and Evan says, "Nope, coleslaw." WHAT?!?!? I am telling you that I do not like coleslaw with spinach and meat in it! LOL
Well, we are braving our own house tonight with out a toilet and the boys are really excited about peeing outside on the dog kennel. Me, you ask?? Well, lets just say if I can't make it to the neighbor's house I will be tossing out a plastic bowl in my trash in the next few days. Sad I know. May have been too much info? Oh well! Night night!

I'm blogging!

Today is the first entry in my new blog! Let me start by saying that I am 28 yrs old, married to David and we have 4 children. Sky-13, Evan- 9, Seth-7, and Aylee 1. Dave works full time and I work semi-full time and I also have a side business with Thirty-One. We all live in a small house with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. We also have two dogs- Jack (corgie) and Chloe (beagle) and a cat named Isis. Yeah, that is a lot of people and pets in one small house, however when we bought the house there were only three people involved. What happened?! Yeah, I guess life happened.

I feel the need to blog to get have my own outlet, so to speak. I may blog about someone reading this and I do not wish to offend. I will try to change names and identities to protect the innocent (or not so innocent). If you find the material offensive, please leave me some feedback and I will take it into consideration when blogging in the future.

Today:Well, my husband is in New York for some work training and I am home with 4 kids, 3 animals, and no working toilet. We are having our ancient bathroom redone and this requires some sacrafices to be made, ie no toilet usage. We have hired amazing drywall guys to come in and make our bathroom less icky and they are amazing! (Email me for their info if interested.) Yesterday they put up all the new mold resistant drywall and it looks great. Only one more coat today, sanding tomorrow and then I can paint.Well, I guess I should get to work. I'll blog more later!
